Course Description:
WEB PAGE DESIGN & DEVELOPMENT 1
This course is designed to provide the student with the knowledge and skills needed to design Web pages. Students will develop coding skills in HTML XHTML (XML), CSS, and Javascript. Students will design, implement, and maintain a personal web site.
Credit: 1 unit
Note: This course counts for the computer science requirement for graduation.
WEB PAGE DESIGN & DEVELOPMENT 2
This course is a continuation of Web Page Design and Development 1. This course is designed to provide the student with the knowledge and skills needed to design Web pages. Students will develop skills in designing, implementing, and maintaining a Web site using authoring tools such as Adobe Dreamweaver CS4, Fireworks CS4, and Flash Professional CS4. Upon completion students are prepared and encouraged to take the Adobe Certified Associate – Dreamweaver certification examination.
