Course Description:
INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY FOUNDATIONS - IC3
This course is designed to prepare the student to take the IC3 Certification test. The course introduces the student to basic concepts in computer and information technology. The areas of instruction covered include computer hardware, software, Internet, and network systems. Upon successful completion of this course, a student should be able to enter successfully any one of the Computer Technology Cluster majors. Students successfully passing the IC3 exams (3) can receive 1 to 3 college credits as defined by the ACE Guide. Cost of the examinations is $99.00
